  • The hackathon is open to citizens of the Russian Federation and other countries around the world, aged 18 or older (specific restrictions may apply depending on the chosen task – check the task page for details).
  • It's an online competition, so you can participate from anywhere in the world.
  • For the first time, participants can present their solutions and pitch in English (restrictions may apply depending on the chosen task – check the task page for details).
  • To participate:
    Register on the competition’s website.
    Create a team of 2 to 5 people or join an existing team.
    Submit a team application, choosing one of the assigned tasks to solve.
    If you don't have a team, use the convenient interface in your personal account or chat to find teammates, or contact the competition moderators for assistance.
  • We welcome participants with diverse skillsets, including front-end developers, back-end developers, full-stack developers, web developers, UX/UI designers, product managers, project managers, data scientists, data engineers, analysts, and other specialists interested in creating solutions for cities or businesses.
  • Compete for the prestigious Moscow Mayor's Prize of 1,000,000 rubles, along with exciting partner-sponsored souvenirs and prizes.
  • Assemble a team and develop an innovative solution aimed at improving the urban environment or benefiting large businesses.
  • Present your ideas to a panel of esteemed experts from the Moscow Government or leading corporations.
  • Enhance your technical and soft skills through participation and collaboration with diverse talents.
  • Network with like-minded individuals and join a vibrant community of specialists from Russia and beyond.
  • To participate, you'll need to register, submit a team application, develop and upload a solution for one of the 24 assigned tasks, present it to a panel of experts, and finally, attend the festival to discover who will be the best.
  • Participant registration and team application submissions open on March 25th and close on June 5th, 2024.
  • On June 3rd, 2024, teams that have registered and sent an application will gain access to technical specifications and data sets.
  • Meetups with experts will be held soon after to provide more details about the assigned tasks and answer team questions.
  • Teams have until 11:59 pm on June 16th, 2024, to upload their developed solutions through their personal accounts on the competition website.
  • Technical evaluations of solutions will be conducted from June 17th to June 21st, 2024.
  • By June 23rd, 2024, the top 10 teams for each task that advanced to the final stage will be announced.
  • Masterclasses on presentation and pitch preparation by relevant experts will be held online on June 24th and 25th, 2024.
  • Online pitches will take place on June 25th and 26th, 2024.
  • The LDT24 festival and award ceremony will be held offline in Moscow. Participating teams will have the opportunity to network with task leaders, enjoy festival activities, and witness the crowning of the "Leader of Digital Transformation." Virtual attendees can connect through online broadcasts.
