The writing sheets 11 are firmly secured relative to th-. back 12 and the flap 13 by means of staples or other seciiring nieans IL5. In order to provide a means whereby a pencil may be removably held in a position overlying the sheets 11, a rect@,ng,,ilar tongue 21 is cut as indicated by the lines 22 from the back 12 and also from a portion of the flip 13.
