The present invention refers to tobacco stripping machines -of the type having a 0-ripper or the like adapted to seize the stem pref erably at some distance from the point of the leif, and further having a device for gri]ppin-a the leaf, the arrangement being uu slich tl@'at the stem is pulled or ' rued out f@om the leaf pi-actically iii the same manner as when stripping by hand. 10 The object of the invention is to provi,de means -whereby a more effective and good stripping is obtained than by machines Df said type hitherto known.
